Agatha4

Months passed by and everybody was back to their normal activities at the village. She wasnt totally forgotten. Agatha's family still mourned her loss and while her mother went to bed everynight  she prayed to see agatha someday. She would look around whenever she went out hoping that agatha would come back to her. But it never happened. Time healed her and the family gradually. Her children were doing well at their various trades and activies, so what more could she expect from the one's that remained with her. She tried to be strong and be there for them not letting Agatha's death come between them.
But down at the deepest end of the Grandan river, Agatha had become really close to the Queen goddess who was fond of her and wouldnt let her leave her side. She was loved by the other mermaids, she would play with the kids and help people like she did while she was on the top. She was eager to learn and everybody wanted to meet her and assist her in her swimming. They never had a human stay with them before and they could see that the Queen goddess had a very strong love for Agatha.
The queen goddess had no Heir to her throne. She had ruled them for a very long time and was now ready to have some one else rule. She saw Agatha as the Heir but she knew her people would never agree except Agatha completely became a mermaid, if not she will be forced to send Agatha out of the River. She became so worried as Agatha had no scale yet after leaving with them for such a long time. The evil Barry Mermaid Kings would come and over throne her and put their Queen in charge of her people if a Heir is not produced soon.
Agatha had become fond of her new environment but still she missed home greatly and wished she could go back and have a life with her family. But it wasn't possible for her to go if not permitted by the Queen goddess.
On one peaceful day, everybody was going about their varioius activities and doing whatever they were doing, suddenly, they all began to feel waves, it was coming gradually and strong like a million mermaids were swimming their direction. Everybody became alert, and started calling their loved ones closer not aware of what was coming their way. The waves became stronger and stronger. Agatha was so scared that she stayed were she was not moving an inch. The last time they felt such wave their direction, it was the arrival of the king mermaids and it was war. Everywhere was scattered as people looked for their family to protect. Agatha still stood there,the waves looked so amazing to her. From the top world, it looked like running water, nothing so facinating about it, but from underneath, were she could feel and still see it, it was magical like she had never seen before.
The Queen goddess ordered everbody into the secret hiding place. They had prepared  it in the shell of a giant turtle, it was one of the oldest things that ever lived in the water. It's shell was so big that on the top world it looked like a big rock that had its base inside the water. As the last mermaid got into the shell, the goddess looked out for Agatha and relized she wasnt there, confused and scared she screamed Agathas name outloud. It was so strong that everybody shut their ears,they could hear her pain. At that point agatha was back to facing the situation at hand and she realized that she was the only one standing there, she heard her name so loud and she turned and saw the Queen goddess swimming towards her. Agatha tried to swim to her but her scale tail had not yet formed completely so she wasn't fast in swimming. She could see the Queen goddess swimming really hard and fast to meet her so as to put her on her back like she usually did anytime they went around the River. The Queen goddess signaled her to keep swimming. But suddenly as she almost got to Agatha, she stopped. Agatha stopped aswell wondering why the Queen goddess stopped. She stared behind Agatha with fear and pain in her eyes confused about what to do. Agatha turned back immediately and she saw a large number of mermaids. They were over a thousand of them. She turned back to look at the Queen goddess, she had her hand stretched at Agatha, she could hear her heart beat inside the water and their eyes locked. She was forced to decide who to save as her people called her from afar. She could hear them screaming out for her to come back. Confused with the choice of saving Agatha or her people, she decided to let Agatha go. The Queen goddess couldn't let her people down, she whispered in the water as she swam away, her heart crushed to pieces as Agatha was seized 'I will come get you, i promise'.
Agatha was taking away by the Bally Mermaid King to distant part of the river........

Agatha3

Agatha stood amazed at what she saw. She wanted to believe she was in a dream. She was summoned up to meet the queen goddess were she layed. Agatha felt scared as she walked up to meet her she didnt know what to expect, or say or what to do.
She sat beside the mermaid queen and instantly she felt warm and calm. The fear was gone. The mermaid goddess held agatha on the hand and instantly she was taken back to when she fell into the water. The man she had seen was a messenger from the waters to choose some one worthy who can come into the water. Agatha saw how she was rescued by the girl who had led her to the water city. There was a huge difference between the top water and the under water of the Grandan River.
As Agatha watched her rescue, the queen mermaid stared at her strongly. She had always watched her while she was above water. She had a kind heart and she was going to train her to be what she wanted her to become. She saw the smile on agathas face she could feel how innocent she was and she knew she was the one. Although Agatha seemed happy that she got rescued but she felt sad as she remembered her family, she wished she could see them again. When the queen mermaid saw the hurt in agathas eyes, she quickly took her hand away from her and this brought her back to the moment she was in before.
She wasnt going to let agatha go away, love filled her heart,such innocent child should not be in that world, so she thought!!! Agatha was welcomed with fresh wine choosen by the queen mermaid and there were dancers and singers and everybody merried. She liked every single bit of the occassion but she wondered what the occassion was for. If she had died and was rescued by the goddess, then why all this merriment? She did not have the slightest idea about the plans the queen mermaid had for her.

 Back at the village, the story had spread round about Agathas death. It was hard to believe because the Grandan river never took people away, it was a folkstory that their elders use to tell them about. So, they new something was wrong about Agathas death.
Her body was buried few days after her death and it was a sorrowful occassion for everyone in the village. Such good child was taken away from them, everybody cried. Her mother was devastated and so was the rest of the family, but as time passed by,they healed gradually still having Agathas thoughts lingering in their  minds.

Agatha 2

Agatha woke up to find herself in a different land. She knew she had fallen into the river but she didnt think she survived. She looked around were she layed down and it was all shiny and glitering, jewelries everywere, things she had never ever seen before in her life. She tried to get up from the ground, when she heard someone speak behind her. She turned to see who had such a wonderful voice. She had never heard any one speak in such manner before. There stood a slim tall girl, she was the most pretiest girl agatha had ever seen. She had a  long hair, beautiful smile, and a glowing skin, she looked like she had had her bath in an oily pool filled with glitters.

 Agatha seemed confused. she wondered were she was. She was led by the girl out of the field were she layed. Agatha felt lost and amazed at what she saw. Life had never looked so beautiful  and colourful. There were beautiful flowers that smelt wondeful and she kept turning around and around, she had to see every single thing she passed. Finally they got to a very big gate, it seemed like the entrance to somewhere people were never allowed to leave.

As the gate opened, it was the most amazing sight ever. Agatha  stood with her mouth wide opened as she saw a large amount of people with smiles on their face all to welcome her. She didnt seem excited at first because she wasnt sure what they were doing, but as she walked in. She was hugged by almost everyone all paving way for her as she walked pass. There were roses in the air, every were glittered. Agatha, felt welcomed, even if she did not know anyone.

Suddenly, there was silence as agatha felt movements like water was flowing, then she realized she was inside water. From affar there appeared a very beautiful, spotless woman with a very long hair. She swam gracefully like she followed a rythm. She had the a tail of a fish desgined with jewelries on each scale, glowing so bright that agatha closed her eyes. She had never seen anything like this ever before in her life. She had heard about mermaids as a folk story, but she never thought they existed.... She layed down on well knitted mat made from the leaf of a palm tree. Everybody bowed down to her as she smiled staring hard at agatha........ to be continued..

Agatha

In a distant part of the world, lived a family. They had left their previous settlement in search of greener pastures back to their home land. Like every culture had their ethics and beliefs, this particular group of people believed in re-incanation. It was said that, if a family member had died from an accident or any unusual circumstance, he or she would come back through the birth of another child. This could come from the family relation or from another family. They strongly believed in it and ensured that when such child is born he or she wouldnt die again through the same circumstance of their previous life.

Agatha had grown into a very pretty girl who everyone liked. She was a little baby when her family had moved back home. She loved what their society had grown into and was looking forward to learning more from the outside world. She had written an exam that would qualify her into entering the higher secondary school and was awaiting her results.Born into a family of six, she was the the third of them all. She had two older ones a boy and a girl and she had three younger ones, two girls and a boy. Agatha was a loving girl and her presence always put a smile on the faces of people.

It happened sadly one day,as she had gone to  the stream as usual to get water when she heard the voice  of a fisherman singing a song as he paddled his boat into the bigger river for fishing. He sang sadly and she wondered what had caused him so much sadness. As he passed by, she stared at him for a while before taking her eyes away. She fetched her last bucket of water and prepared to leave, when she heard a loud scream from the river side. Startled, she ran into the stream to see from a different angle into the river so as to help whoevere it was. Her bucket turned over, and all the water poured out .It rolled in to the stream and was floating away.  She had peeped but didnt see anyone. Turning back to her bucket, she saw it far into the stream,she jumped into the stream and tried to save her bucket. But it had gone to far for her and so had she. At this instance she had no control she struggled hard to swim but she didnt know how to. The stream flowed into the river  so fast rendering her helpless and weak. Nobody was around to save her not even the fisherman. Agatha struggled to save herself  but it was too late and so she drowned.

Night had come and she was not back home.Her mother raised an alarm alongside people that had seen her going to the  stream. This search went on and on, it was a terrible loss to the people as, Agatha was still not found.

Finally, after on week, someone ran into the mourning village screaming that Agathas body had been found at the bank of another river in a different village. Villagers, and everyone that heard this was full with fear and nobody wanted to go close to the body. The river had nothing flowing in or out of it, it was called the Grandan river, house of the marine goddess.

'staying away from guys'

Those days our parents had very funny and unrealistic ways of warning us about certain things. In the case of us girls getting 'pregnant' hmmmm. That word alone was TERROR. My mum would say, 'dont hug or shake a guy because you will get pregnant' 'dont play at certain places or ways with guys because you will get pregnant'. My friends mum told her that, if she stays with a guy in the dark and he touches her 'bambam' then she will get pregnant and she would have Aunty Julies baby (the neighbour) sucking her small breast. That scared her and she never played with any guy in the dark. Another said her mum told her to stay away from guys when she was on her P because if any should shake her hand she would get pregnant. Some other friend said her mom told her not to move at all with guys or be their friends if not she will get pregnant. Hahahahahah, Mothers were sure very funny then. Am sure so many people heard their mums say other funny stuff to them about guys. Then, we wouldnt dare come or offer a hand shake to any guy who had his hand stretched. Then the fathers had theirs, 'if you get pregnant dont you dare return home' if u get pregnant i will disown you and your mother if she begs me' if you get pregnant i will beat the hell out of you till the baby comes out!' Chaii a lot of scary words at that time, and then you start to imagine, what if i actually do get pregnant, were will i go? No more comfort like what i have, no more school,no more feeding or extra money for shopping,no more friends and the baby...... All those thoughts sure scared me.

It was this fear that made some girl panic for three months. Imagine you leaving constantly with the fear of being pregnant not having anyone to talk to, and not even having the chance to check if ur actually pregnant.... 

Now this chick met a guy at  the gym. They got talking no names exchanged though, but they seem to connect alot. Now, young girl desperate to explore but still hearing her mothers warning at the back of her head decided to try a little. After the gym, they both got really in the mood and they start to smooch and kiss and you know fumbling and all. She knew she had gone to far when the guy tried to stick his hands in her panties. She quickly told him to stop and she went home.

As she got home she smiled as she went to bed remembering how good she felt. But the next morning she woke up with serious fear as she recalled her mums words. A month went by, and she began to feel fat and and her breast according to her felt funny. She felt like throwing up after a meal. Young girl began her journey of worries, she became so concious of herself, she found her self thinking constantly of what shame she would bring and how her fatheer would disown her and how her baby would  be a bastard since she never saw the guy again. She would constantly be on the internet checking symptoms of pregnancy and how people still see their periods while their pregnant and how the baby kicks. She compared it to what she was goin through and to her the symptoms were the same. Nothing could change her mind, phsychology was playing serious tricks on her. She was pregnant. The baby kept kicking making her tommy pain her constantly. This went on for three months, she was having sleepless night and she wasnt meeting her gtrades anymore. 

At the end of the third month, she couldnt take it anymore,she was a troubled young girl. So, she went to the school nurse to do a test, she begged the nurse to please make sure everything was confidential and not even the next nurse should know. it was funny because the result showed negative. Still she wasnt satisfied, she said the nurse was not being truthful because the baby was so restless and keept kicking and turning, So therefore she wanted her tommy scanned. All this was besides the constant begging she added anytime the nurse passed buy.

'Your not pregnant ms' the nurse send convincing her that she wasnt. With a sigh of relief for the first time in three months, young girl slept and woke up and the kicking baby was no longer kicking. Every symptom had dessappeared!!! YEAH RIGHT!!

 Well, dont blame the girl, i thought she was really silly toooo!!! Am sure many of us had such distressing moments....... courtesy of our parents lol.
